Flight Miami – Washington D.C. – Frankfurt – Kiev
After getting ashore from the ship I found myself in one of the most beautiful cities of the world – Miami. I liked cleanliness and perfect roads, American strictness and managerial talent, although telegraph posts were wooden.

Me and two my friends decided to go to computer store – BestBuy, but we didn’t took into account that it was Easter. It wasn’t a problem to take a taxi from hotel – we were carried with a wind, about 12 kilometers, for $17. We had got to that place in 20 minutes, squat down; other customers began to gather around. Clock showed 11 a.m., minute hand went further, but deflector blades didn’t even think about rising. Understood, Easter, but somehow inform about store’s day off they could. Potentional customers began sit into their cars, but we didn’t have car, and all yellow taxis disappeared.
That’s why we went to hotel, looking onto the place, where airplanes were landed (we knew, that ours Comfort Inn was in that side) . It was very hot and totally uninhabited . All several people, whom we, however, had seen, gave us conflicting data about our route. That’s why three of us tried to find out pieces of way and moved. Two plastic bottles with water saved us . On the way we had seen two winos without definite place of residence, one of them peacefully slept under the palm, and another one lively seek for something. First we passed by industrial area (really good roads with fences on edges), and then we reached to private area – 1 floor buildings. Houses were not made of stone but of something like wood or plastic, fences were lacked, and nearby every manor at least one car remained.

But with all this things we couldn’t feel any celebrations. We didn’t smell grilled meat, we didn’t hear music and all of this looked little bit strange, like horror, although entourage turned away thoughts about next Hollywood zombie’s revenge. We saw the monument to Cuban women – victims of communist regime. By the way, we couldn’t see any other ones.

During active discussions about direction of moving, after 2 hours of permanent walking, we reached hotel. It was pleasant to realize that all the time we moved in right way. And all 3 of us, after putting cream on our redden skin, had square meal.
Upon arriving to airport next day, I was impressed with internal excellence of planning and decoration of the building. It was really impossible even pretend any lines

When airplane got into air, I threw last glance onto skyscrapers, wrapped around. It was a gorgeous view. Flight from Florida to capital went above highways, which looked very accurate, cars in small groups, like toys, slowly climbed beneath.
Airplane flew to Washington D.C. only above land, that’s why I couldn’t see anything except clouds. We got to destination very fast and soon looked for our departure terminal in Alain Dulles’s Airport. Here I memorized very long rows of these terminals with big amount of stores and caf?s for any taste. As presidential election campaign was at that time at high point, one of the shops was selling election symbolism all candidates, who took part in race. Paradox, in Ukraine this staff is given for free, if only somebody took, but there… Anyway if such things remain that mean the Americans really trust their rulers and love them. And prices there were by no means not low, to declared price was add something like tax, about 10% more. Nearby the entrance, nicely dressed, statues of John McCain, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton stood. All of them smiled with welcome smile . It was not crowded despite evening time, and it was easy to seat and have a rest. You need to charge your cell phone or laptop, – welcome, please; we have enough energy outlets, sit down, dear visitor of sky gates of U.S. capital.
Anyway, 3 hours here moved out fast. Boeing 747-400 flew up into illuminated with last sunrays of setting sun sky. Altitude was gained in leaps and bounds, and only thing I remembered is strict, compact and clever building up of the suburb, it was like a sketch of Soviet schoolboy.
It became dark, map on the monitor in the cabin showed Philadelphia under the airplane, and then New York City. Both megapolises in the night seemed like giant ant hills, lights created web of energy and that view was tremendous. From the height about 10 kilometers it was easy to see shapes of both cities, and NYC was even divided with water – dark spots between red-hot strings of city communications.

Impressed by this view, I ordered beer – best drink if you flying with Lufthanza. Flight above the Atlantics took about 5 hours. I slumbered, and than had been awaken by sunrays which penetrated throw illuminator. Regarding electronic map Ireland was land underneath city’s lights violently declined, day was coming. Next land was England, London also impressed with its scale. Both islands were green , though spring was only coming . Having passed English Channel airplane got to spaces or Belgium or northern France and here after 8 months of Caribbean a saw a snow. White fields alternately with black forests stretched all the way to Frankfurt – on – Main.

Until landing in airport city wasn’t seen, it was looked like urban village. Cars moved slowly across forest roads.
Local airport impressed by its size and something like chaos. Many-many terminals, enormous number of airplanes and hangers, buses – everything was here. I haven’t seen only American shine haven’t existed, only German strictness and faces of all shapes and skin color. Nearby the terminal of Kiev flight I was properly checked. Here, although not like much like in USA, were enough seating places. WiFi was chargeable and, knowing about European level of prices, I didn’t wanted to order it. Staff was commonly white, and minority was Arabian.
Before Kiev this terminal took care of flight to Manchester, and comparing with strict Englishmen in coats and tuxedos waiting Ukrainians were looked like refugees. We were sat into the bus, first time since hot Miami we had to go out on street, and taken to the embarkation point. Airplane was little bit late but because of that embarkation time was speeded up. After 40 minutes of flight, already above Poland, it became very foggy, and it lasted all the way to Kiev. Before capital of Ukraine we passed through zone of turbulence, hull of liner was shaken like in Hollywood catastrophe film, and some nervous persons had started screaming. But everything passed fast and very soon we were on our final lap to Motherland. Luggage was taken fast, my red bags made my search easy. Our custom officers briskly discussed something, drinking coffee, and I quietly passed by the green corridor, even not detecting luggage with roentgen. Nearby the exit I saw a lot of people, most of them, I’m sure, weren’t meeting people. Taxi – drivers and other strange persons made their bread attacking just flew people.
