Morning in Cozumel, Mexico

The island is about 30 miles north to south and 10 miles east to west, and is the largest Atlantic island of Mexico. It is about 12 miles from the mainland, and some 36 miles south of Cancun. The vast majority of the population of Cozumel (about 70 000) lives in town of San Miguel, which is on western shore. The rest of island is low, flat, and densely vegetated.
